Secret Senna on oppo, tired of waiting.

I'm not mad, or disappointed, I just thought I'd do something different with the "What's happened with my Secret Senna" post.

So tired, tired of waiting

Tired of waiting for you
So tired, tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for you

I was a happy man
I had the "perfect gift" for you
But you, keeping me waiting, all of the time
What can I do?

It's your gift and you can do what you want
Do what you like
But please tell me you got it
Please tell me you got it

'Coz I'm so tired, tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for you
I'm so tired, tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for you

I was a happy man
I thought you'd bought me one But you, keeping me waiting, all of the time What can I do?

It's your gift and you can do what you want
Do what you like
But please tell me you sent it
Please tell me you sent it

'Coz I'm so tired, tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for it
I'm so tired, tired of waiting
Tired of waiting for it, for it, for it

Disclaimer: I have a feeling that something may have gone awry in the mail and that's fine. I'd just like to know if whoever sent me a gift knows that I have, in fact, not gotten the package.

As for the one I sent, I've given up.

I don't know where mine is either :(
I do know that the one I sent was received, though.

Never received mine either. Everyday when I get home and see nothing on my front porch I just scream to myself inside my car

My biggest issue is that I feel awful for not being able to tell whomever sent me something that his/hers gift has gone missing somewhere.

That's mostly why I didn't join this year's event... I'm still waiting on packages I ordered last October, because that's how things roll in Brazil, and I feared it would make whoever sent one to me uneasy until the package arrived. Which could take well over a year. :/

Of course, I'm in no way bashing Secret Senna or anything and I might actually join this year if I find something cool to gift, but there's nothing to be done about the Brazilian postal service.

Seems like the postal system in some parts of Europe have made a huge booboo as well, at least with the gift sent my way. The gift I sent could very well be where it should, in Croatia, but my giftee has gone "missing" :/

Ah yeah, that most definitely sucks... I hope that's not the case here, but people should be more careful about whether or not they plan on being part of a community long enough to take part in these types of events.

Yeah, but something could have happened, no internet, something. And I can't expect everyone to spend as much time here as I do :P But we'll see, we'll see.

Yep, be positive, sometimes real life gets in the way of Oppoing... Which explains why I'm here all the time, haha...

I had a post a few weeks ago and my SS revealed themselves and said that FedEx had delayed my package and if it hadn't arrived by January 5th to let him know... well I did and never got a response. Of course, he's in the 20-and-under group.

WizKashifa, may you be shamed by the Oppo community until I receive my gift!

Looks like he's 16. I'm guessing he has no money

I had to send my gift again today.

Should arrive between 3 to 10 business days, so... hopefully I'll make someone happy next week.

I have no doubt your gift will make it there in the end Armand. ;)

I'm sure it will.

My giftee hasn't complained so far (on Oppo at least). Yes, I'm stalking him.

I wonder where mine is.

I'll ask Alex about who my SS was next week. I figured, if he/she has not sent a gift, I'll buy me something myself. If he/she is in a bad situation I'll give him/her a gift. That was the whole point about this right? Giving :)

I won't participate this year, I'll donate money in the name of oppo.

Yeah. I'll ask too, but only after my Blipshift shirt arrives. Because that was sent before my SS, and it still hasn't arrived. So, I guess it must also be stuck somewhere.

I think unless we find a better way, I won't participate.

I ordered something from Blipshift four days AFTER I sent my SS gift... it arrived in 12 days... And I live in Norway.

Any room left where you live? I'm getting tired of all this crap over here.

I thought my shirt has vanished, until last week, when the tracking status updated from "Processed Through Sort Facility" in the US on Dec 7th to "Customs Clearance" on Jan 9th in Brazil.

We've got plenty of room. Keep in mind that it's a tad bit cold up here though :P

I think the cold is one of the things attracting me. Yesterday it was 35ºC.

It's quite warm here now.. -8 C :)

-8º is very freaking low. But I love it. I think one gets used to this.

The city where I grew up in floats between -5 and +18 in the Winter. Very low for Brazilian standards, so I think I wouldn't suffer as much as some friends that come from places that float between 25 and 40 even in the Winter.

I think the worst I've ever seen was -15.

Kinja'd!!! Laird Andrew Neby Bradleigh > Hermann

Kinja'd!!!1

Ohh.. Yeah... Ehm.. Where I live it's quite normal to have +25 C in the summer (+30 not unheard of) and - 25 C in the winter (-35 not that unusual).. Coldest I can remember here was -37 C, coldest I've experienced was -44 C (not in my town though)

Kinja'd!!! Hermann > Laird Andrew Neby Bradleigh

Holy crap! That's hardcore cold. -44º! I'd love to experience something like that. I always loved cold. They sub zero days were always awesome here.

Since I've moved to São Paulo I have barely touched my cold weather gear. I left most of it on my mom's house. Although I wear my boots the whole year because of the heavy rain in São Paulo. The worst I've seen in São Paulo was +3ºC and I remember the whole city freaking out while a few were actually pleased (like me).

Let's just put it this way.. -44 C is not something you'd like to test in just a t-shirt :P (disclaimer, I used to drive a lorry... Had to carry some boxes from the lorry to the shop that had ordered the goods, it was nice and toasty inside the lorry, so I only had a t-shirt and a pair of jeans on..

Ouch.

Can't imagine the bite when you opened the door and realised how cold it was.
